EXCLUSIVE: Zero: Is Sridevi a part of a song in Shah Rukh Khan's film? Director Aanand L Rai answers
During an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla, director Aanand L Rai cleared the air about late actor Sridevi's special appearance in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
Even before the title of Zero was announced, we got to know that the leading actresses of Bollywood will be making stunning special appearances in the film. Actresses namely late Sridevi, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Alia Bhatt will be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the sequence. A couple of days back, it was reported that the ladies are a part of the song which won't be out until the release of Zero.
However, when we quizzed the director of Zero, Aanand L Rai about the same, he denied the report stating there's no such song. Rai stated, "That's a wrong information. It's not a song, it's a part of a sequence. People are saying it's a song but it's not. Including all other actresses, you will see Sri ma'am in it." Well, that puts an end to all the rumours! Last year on October 2, Shah Rukh took to his Instagram page and shared a photo posing with these Bollywood beauties. He captioned it stating, "Sum nites the stars with u shine brighter than the ones in the sky. Thx ladies for ur graciousness beauty & love."
Zero also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as the female leads. In the film, SRK will be seen playing the role of a vertically challenged person named Bauua Singh. Katrina will be seen as an alcoholic movie star and Anushka as a NASA scientist suffering from cerebral palsy. The film is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
