EXCLUSIVE - Vicky Kaushal has sweet things to say about his Raazi co-star Alia Bhatt

Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi alongside Alia Bhatt. The trailer was out yesterday and looks like an interesting cross-border drama between India and Pakistan.
In the film, Alia plays the role of a woman called Sehmat who gets married to a Pakistani army man Iqbal. Sehmat's purpose is to spy on the Pakistanis to give away the information to her father in India. The trailer promises us with a lot of action and intense emotions.
This is Vicky's first film with Alia and both the actors look all set to give a stellar performance together. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, when Vicky Kaushal was asked how was his experience of working with Alia Bhatt, he said, "It was amazing. I think she is one of the most talented actors we have in our country today. It was amazing to work with her because she is very good at her job. She is a very humble being as well."
Vicky Kaushal was asked how it feels to receive so much of appreciation and positive response to which he answered, "I feel amazing. I was just checking on YouTube and saw that it's trending on number one. It feels great. It's good to be getting opportunities to work with great people like Meghna, Alia, Karan Johar. So I feel really, really blessed to be a part of this."
The actor didn't reveal much about his character in the film but said that there is more to unfold. About his character in Raazi, the Masaan actor said, "I can't talk much about it because there's more to come after the trailer has come now. But I'll just say that he is a major in the Pakistani army who is married to Alia's character. That's all I can say now. But there's much more to unfold, which will happen in time to come."
Vicky was asked about his experience of working with director Meghna Gulzar. The talented actor states that after Talvar, he wanted to work with her and he is glad that he was offered the role in Raazi.
"I have been a fan of her since Talvar. I have been wanting to work with Meghna after that. I am glad that this opportunity came my way and I got to work with her and it was a learning process to be directed by her," said Vicky.
Raazi is based on Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat. It is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
