EXCLUSIVE - Taapsee Pannu: It's my national holiday when it's my birthday
During an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla, birthday girl Taapsee Panny spoke at length about her plans for today. She calls her birthday as her national holiday.
It's Taapsee Pannu's birthday today (August 1, 1987). The actor has turned 31 today. Taapsee has been a part of the industry from the past eight years and has been a part of all regional film industries and Bollywood. Now, she is gearing up for the release of her latest outing, Mulk which will hit the screens on August 3, 2018.
During an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla, Taapsee spoke at length about her birthday plans. She stated, "It's a rule that it's my national holiday when it's my birthday. I never work on my birthday. I either spend it with my entire family or probably go abroad with my sister somewhere. But I definitely don't work on my birthday."
Taapsee said this time there will be a slight change. She further said, "There is going to be a slight exception this time, I am not shooting on my birthday but I will be promoting my film that day."
The Judwaa 2 actor added, "I can't help it. I can't suddenly vanish when my film needs me just two days before the release. So that way I will sacrifice my national holiday for this."
Taapsee concluded by saying, "By rule, I don't work. It's the day when I want to sink it in that I have become older."
Meanwhile, talking about Mulk, the film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and also stars Rishi Kapoor, Prateik Babbar in the lead roles. In the film, Taapsee will be seen playing the role of a tough lawyer.
