EXCLUSIVE: Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath to go on floors on THIS date
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan are all set for Kedarnath.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath has been in news ever since it has been announced. It grabbed eyeballs when Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara came on board for the film. People have been to see a fresh pair on screen - Sara and Sushant.
Kedarnath would be Sara's Bollywood debut whereas for Sushant - it would be his second collaboration with director Abhishek Kapoor. It's well known and you can guess by the title that film would be shot in Uttarakhand.
There were reports that the film will go on floors by end of this month. Now, our sources have confirmed to us, "They (Sara, Sushant and the whole team) will be going to Uttarakhand on this Sunday (August 27)."
Recently, during an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA, Sushant was asked if he has started doing any workshops or preparations for Kedarnath. To which he replied, "I always do workshops before the start of a film. Like I said, the most exciting part for me is to not know the character I am playing and learn about it. So for this film too, I am doing what I should be. I am currently still figuring out and continuously searching for the right way to do my character."
Going by the reports, Sushant will be playing the role of a pithoo in the film. In an interview with us, he also confirmed that he is living like a pithu and learned the basics of cooking, including vegetarian food. He told us, "“I don’t debate those things – like these are things I normally don’t do in my life but instead I think I should be doing them. It’s just that I have to do what my character does and that’s non-negotiable. A few days back if you asked me if I know how to cook I would have said no, it could have been different but now, yes, I can say I know the basics of cooking (laugh). I can cook everything – like daal, chawal and roti to sabzis. Recently I went to meet the CRPF jawans at Manipur for Jai Jawan for August 15 and I made some nice, perfectly round, thin rotis there for them and you know that someone who can make round rotis can make daal-chawaal too! Now I can safely say I have the basic instinct to survive and how."
