EXCLUSIVE - Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja Wedding: Kareena Kapoor Khan to ONLY attend the reception

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be getting married on May 8, 2018, at the actor's aunt, Kavita Singh's bungalow in Bandra between 11 am to 12:30 pm. A wedding reception will be held in the evening on the same day.

Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot to her longtime beau Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. As per the invitation cards, Sonam’s Mehendi ceremony will take place on May 7, 2018, at the banquet hall of her new apartment, Sunteck, Signature Island. The dress code for the event is Indian Festive - Shades of White.

The wedding ceremony will take place at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s residence between 11 am to 12:30 pm. Sonam and Anand will exchange garlands at the temple in the bungalow. The dress code for the event is Indian traditional.

Later in the evening, Sonam and Anand’s families will host a party which will see their family members performing. This will be held at the hotel The Leela. The dress code for the party is Indian or Western formals.

People can't wait to see the who's who of Bollywood at the wedding in their fashionable best. One of the closest friends of Sonam and her Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be a part of the big fat Indian wedding.

But a source revealed to Pinkvilla that, the actor will be attending only the reception, not the Anand Karaj which will be held at Sonam's aunt Kavita Singh's bungalow in Bandra.

Moreover, Bebo is most likely to be seen wearing Faraz Manan for the reception. While her alternative option is her favourite, Manish Malhotra.

Earlier this week, Sonam and Anand's family shared a statement confirming their impending wedding. The statement read, "From the Kapoor & Ahuja families, The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thanks & Regards."
