Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu have been blessed with a baby girl. Sharing the news, the Golmaal actor took to Twitter and wrote, "We are over the moon thrilled and delighted to share that we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this very auspicious day. Soha and our gorgeous baby are doing well. We thank you for your kind wishes, love and blessings."
We got in touch with Soha's mother Sharmila Tagore and she told us, "We are happy. Soha is well and Kunal is well. It's lovely to have the little one. It's a very special moment. Kunal is super excited as it's his first baby. Thank god everything went well."
Earlier, we got a chance to meet Kunal when we went to Hyderabad wherein he was shooting for the title track of his upcoming film, Golmaal Again. Expressing his feelings, he said, "I am very excited and happy. A lot of people said that you will be nervous and will get sleepless nights, but I haven't felt it. I can't wait to be a father now."
Does he plan to take a paternity break? On these lines, he said, "I will promote the film, but yes a little break is important or else I will be in trouble later. I think more than me wanting to do is that I really want to spend time with the baby. I start planning in my head and Soha is like baby is going to take some time to grow before you start doing all this. But yes, I will take some time off. We will watch Golmaal together."
"It was a baby galore everywhere. Saif had a baby and a lot of my other friends were becoming parents. There was so much pressure," quipped Kunal.
Are he and Soha ready for the baby? Kunal said, "I am happy and we both are prepared for the baby. I just want a baby and we never felt the need to check it. But kabhi kabhi, we are like pata chal jaye so that we know what to shop. We have used the neutral colours in the room as of now. The preparation of the nursery has already started."
