It is a known fact that Sanjay Dutt has been married thrice. After the sad demise of his first wife Richa Sharma, Sanjay tied the knot to Rhea Pillai in the year 1998. They got divorced in 2005 and in 2008, Sanjay got hitched to Maanayata Dutt.

Now, in the upcoming biopic of Sanjay titled Sanju, Maanayata's role will be played by Dia Mirza. But why is Rhea Pillai's character missing from the biopic?. Has it been kept as a surprise? Or the makers wanted to keep her out of the Dutt's story? It is rather strange that those who have covered the 1993 Blast Case know that Rhea was definitely an integral part of Sanjay's life. He found hope in her and reportedly told reporters later that Rhea gave him love which he didn't get from an expected quarter. Sources close to Dutt's ex-wife are also surprised that she does not feature in the biopic.

For the uninitiated, did you know that Sanjay and Rhea met in a chamber of a senior lawyer who was fighting his case? It was love at first sight and a close friend said that the actor would look for an excuse to meet her. He would even land up at her place where he could get a chance to see her. The spiritual path that Sanjay undertook was due to Rhea which healed him to a very big extent.

While we are speculating that they may have kept her out of the biopic so as to highlight the other woman in the actor's life. Maybe we would know more about the truth in two days from now - if Rhea's character is there or not in Sanju!
