EXCLUSIVE: Rajkummar Rao refutes rumours of starring alongside Kangana Ranaut in a thriller
Reports started making the rounds that Rajkummar Rao might work with Kangana Ranaut again.
Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starred together in 2014's hit movie Queen. Since then, people have been waiting for them to share the screen space again.
There were reports that Rajkummar might be a part of Kangana's latest outing Simran. When we asked about the same, he stated, "This Simran doesn't need any RAJ, yeh Simran apni zindagi aise hi jee legi.. ja beta ja tujhe Raj ki zaurat nahi hai."
Now, reports started making the rounds that the Queen duo might star together in a thriller which might go on floors next year. When we quizzed Rajkummar about these reports, he replied, "It’s a rumour."
Well, that puts an end to these speculations!
Meanwhile, Rajkummar is recovering from a leg injury which took place on the sets of Farah Khan's celebrity singing show, Lip Sing Battle. Moreover, he is gearing up for the release of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, where he is paired opposite Kriti Kharbanda. The film is directed by Ratnaa Sinha and is slated to release on November 10, 2017.
He will soon resume the shoot of Atul Manjrekar's Fanney Khan. The film is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and stars Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. The film is likely to hit the screens next year.
Coming to Kangana, the talented actress is currently shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The film is directed by Krish and is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
Kangana will also start with her directorial debut Teju soon.
