Priyanka Chopra celebrates her 36th birthday today and Pinkvilla got in touch with the actress' mom Madhu Chopra who got candid about her famous daughter.
When we asked Madhu if she ever felt that her daughter would become a global phenomenon, the proud mother gushed, "She has always been determined and hardworking but we never thought that this would happen."
Priyanka is making her comeback in Bollywood after 3 years with Bharat and The Sky is Pink. When we spoke to Madhu about this, she stated that she is very happy and that she is excited for Bharat.
On how they used to celebrate Priyanka's birthday when she was a child, Madhu shared that after PeeCee turned five years of age, the actress would visit an orphanage on her birthday and continues to do so even today.
Finally, we asked Madhu on what would her birthday wish for her darling daughter would be, the doting mother shared, "I pray that she gets a lot of happiness and love and that there are never tears in her eyes. Only smiles."

Soon, Priyanka will commence shooting for Bharat, which is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Bharat marks the onscreen reunion of Salman Khan and Priyanka and also stars Tabu, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover. Bharat is slated for an Eid 2019 release.
