EXCLUSIVE: Not Deepika Padukone, a new face for Sushant Singh Rajput's The Fault In Our Stars remake

The makers of Sushant Singh Rajput's The Fault In Our Stars remake are looking for a fresh face.

Sushant Singh Rajput has been roped in to feature in the official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood romantic saga, The Fault In Our Stars. There have been rumours floating around for the female lead, Padmavati actor Deepika Padukone will be seen stepping in. Our sources have a different a story to tell. 

Our sources told us, "It is completely made up and from the very beginning the makers are finding a new face for this character. They are looking for a fresh face opposite Sushant for this film." It will be interesting to see if not Deepika, then who will be seen alongside Sushant in the remake. 

Yesterday, the reports came that the Kai Po Che actor offered to slash his fees to work with Deepika. Our sources have also denied rumours. Coming back to The Fault In Our Stars remake, the movie is being helmed by Mukesh Chhabra. Recently, when Mukesh was asked about the project by a leading tabloid, he replied, "Yes, I am on board for The Fault in Our Stars remake. I'm working on the script at the moment. Sushant is the leading man and we are still in the process of casting the heroine."

Meanwhile, Sushant recently completed the first schedule of Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. Kedarnath also marks the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan. 

Sushant is currently in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he is shooting for a song sequence with Jacqueline Fernandez for their upcoming release Drive. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Drive is slated to release on March 2, 2018.
