Madhuri Dixit is a wonderful actor and a spectacular dancer. She is also a doting mother to her sons. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, Madhuri opens up about motherhood, her children and advice her mom gave to her on being a mother.
It's Mother's Day today and Pinkvilla EXCLUSIVELY got a chance to interact with Bollywood's one of the coolest moms - Madhuri Dixit.
Madhuri is a doting mother to her two sons - Raayan and Arin. We all know Madhuri as a fantastic actor and a phenomenal dancer. However, her fans are curious to know to Madhuri Dixit as a mother.
She will soon be seen in a Marathi film called Bucket List in which she plays the role of a mother.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor opened on her idea of motherhood, how it feels to be a mother, about her children and much more.
The Devdas actor even crooned the lullaby she used to sing for her kids.
When asked about one thing that changed after becoming a mother, Madhuri said, "You can't take time for yourself which I've always encouraged people to do."
She added, "I don't know what has changed. Life is so rapid and you just flow with it. I don't miss anything. I don't see what's changed. I just know that I enjoy the time with my kids and my family and just have fun with them."
She also revealed the what she doesn't want to be on her kids' bucket list. The actor tells us that one awkward question her kids asked her which she didn't answer. Madhuri also shared an advice her mother gave to her on motherhood.
The actor said that every day is a mother's day. She added, "As a mother, it is our duty to teach our kids, especially the boys to respect women and instil those values in them."
