Find out who is replacing Sajid Khan as the director of Housefull 4. The filmmaker has been accused of sexual harassment by three women.
Filmmaker Sajid Khan, who has been embroiled in a controversy post three women alleged him of sexual harassment, stepped down as the director of Housefull 4 on Friday. Since then everyone was wondering who will take replace him as the ship of the captain and seems like the production house has finally found the right person. Farhad Samji, who also wrote the dialogue for the movie, will be helming the movie hereon. The production house spokesperson confirmed the news to us exclusively saying, "Director of Housefull 3 Farhad Samji, will now direct Housefull 4.”
Sajid was accused of sexual harassment by three women which included a journalist, an actor and an assistant director. The filmmaker in a tweet said that he is shocked with the allegations and that media shouldn't pass judgement based on speculations till the truth is out. On the other hand, Farah Khan in a tweet said that she doesn't endorse any sort of behaviour and stands in solidarity with anyone who wants to speak out.
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar also tweeted about the allegations and said that he is not only appalled but also disgusted with it. He also called out actor Amrita Puri for alleging that the family knew about Sajid's wheresabout but did not correct him. Other names to have come to light in the same matter are Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Subhash Ghai, Subhash Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor among others.
