Director Karan Malhotra has directed some interesting films such as Agneepath (2012) and Brothers (2015). We have learnt from our sources that Karan has signed a three-film deal with YRF.

Also, his first film with YRF will have Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Well, if this happens, Ranbir will be collaborating with YRF after a long time.

Ranbir's last film with YRF was Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009).

Karan has directed Agneepath (2012) with Dharma Productions that starred Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. The film impressed the audience and was a hit. So we cannot wait to see him working with Ranbir.

We contacted both YRF and Karan Malhotra asking for the confirmation, but they are yet to respond.

Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is prepping for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.

Ranbir and Alia have been taking up dance lessons for the same and are often snapped post their workout sessions.

Ranbir has been taking sword-fighting, horse-fighting and dancing lessons for the film. The fantasy film is set to be a trilogy and the first part will be hitting the screens in 2019.

When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra, the actor said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word ‘superhero’ comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting, and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."
