Sonam Kapoor got hitched to her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh ceremony at her aunt Kavita Singh's bungalow in Bandra’s Bandstand area. The wedding was a close-knit affair with very selected guests being invited for the Anand Karaj ceremony. Amongst them was Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, who arrived with husband Saif, son Taimur and sister Karisma. Also present at the wedding was Amitabh Bachchan with daughter Shweta and son Abhishek. Needless to say, there were awkward vibes exchanged between Abhishek and his ex-fiancé Karisma. The two avoided coming face to face and were happily chatting around with their group of friends. Things were slightly off for Abhishek when his once ‘close friend’ Rani Mukerji also walked in for the wedding. Unaffected by her equation with Abhishek, Rani walked up to Big B and exchanged a warm hug before going ahead and chilling with her Ghulam co-star Aamir Khan.

Similar was the case at Sonam’s star-studded reception held at a plush hotel in Mumbai. A number of Bollywood exes were present to bless the happy couple, each one of them trying to avoid bumping into their ex-flames!

While Ranbir Kapoor walked in with his new ‘close friend’ Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif entered with her sister Isabelle Kaif. The onlookers expected some drama but nothing of that sort happened. Katrina ignored Ranbir and bonded with Alia without qualms whereas Kapoor was seen chilling with his buddies Ayan Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan. RK was also seen chilling with his other ex Deepika Padukone’s current boyfriend Ranveer Singh.

Interestingly, though Alia has never admitted to being in a relationship with actor Sidharth Malhotra, the truth remains that they were indeed together and today are no longer on talking terms. Both Sidharth and Alia avoided each other at the party. Unlike previous celebrations, this time Alia and Sid came in separately and were hanging with different set of friends, under the same roof. Sidharth was seen chilling with Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. We wonder what sort of friendships are these! Never mind.

Katrina Kaif, apart from Sidharth Malhotra, was seen waiting for her ‘good friend’ Salman Khan to arrive. While Salman did come in when Katrina was about to leave, they did exchange their share of hugs and kisses. Meanwhile, when Salman was making his way to the party, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan consciously stayed away and was seen chatting along with other friends while her hubby Abhishek Bachchan gave her company. Only when Salman took over the stage and was busy showing off his dance moves, did the Bachchans exit the party.

While Alia Bhatt has always maintained that she has been good friends with Varun Dhawan, things didn’t seem fine between the two stars at the party. Varun, who walked in with his lady love Natasha Dalal, was seen giving a cold shoulder to Alia, raising quite a few eyebrows, given that the two stars are working together on Kalank currently. we wonder what’s cooking?!

Another ex-couple that avoided bumping into each other was Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Bebo, who arrived with husband Saif Ali Khan, despite doing a movie like Udta Punjab with Sasha, remained distant from him. She instead hanged around with her girl gang, while Shahid gave company to his pretty wife, who is all set to embrace motherhood for the second time. However, Shahid did manage to remain cordial to his Rangoon co-star Saif Ali Khan. A source present at the party revealed to us exclusively, that Saif even hugged Shahid and congratulated him for becoming a father for the second time. Needless to say, their wives didn’t see each other eye to eye. Infact, Bebo was heard kidding around about this with her sister - Karisma Kapoor. A guest from the party revealed that the sisters jokingly told their friends that they shouldn’t move around in the ballroom else things won’t be good. The ladies in these exact words said, “Dancing is better than bumping into exes.”

Actor Arjun Kapoor, who was otherwise enjoying himself completely at his sister’s wedding, was consciously keeping away from his ex, Arpita Khan. Arjun and Salman’s sister dated each other for a while before Kapoor made it to Bollywood. While AK was avoiding Arpita, the latter was busy posing with her ex-boyfriend’s sister Anshula Kapoor!

Too much awkwardness under the same roof! Strange, we say. What do you guys think?
