Diljit Dosanjh recently released the audio of his new song titled Kylie & Kareena. The singer revealed the inspiration behind the song and Kareena Kapoor Khan's reaction to it.
Diljit Dosanjh made Thursday a groovy affair by dropping a new song titled Kylie & Kareena. The Punjabi track has been written by Tej Gill, Herman Atwal and Money Musik, and it blends Diljit's obsession for Kylie Jenner with his love for Kareena Kapoor Khan perfectly. The song is unlike any song Diljit has been a part in the past and we are loving it. The song has been on loop ever since Diljit shared it online. While fans are enjoying this presentation, we wondered how his Good News co-star aka Kareena reacted to the song.
Diljit told Pinkvilla exclusively that the actress loved it. He revealed that he kept the song a secret from Kareena because he wanted to surprise her with the final output. "I wanted to surprise to her. When the song was ready, I played it to her and showed her the video as well. She loved it," he told us.
Speaking about collaborating Kylie and Kareena in the song, the Punjabi superstar said, "Kareena Kapoor Khan is my favourite Bollywood actress. Just like Kylie Jenner, Kareena ma'am is the only one."
The Punjabi star and Bollywood actor will soon be seen in Good News, where he is reuniting with Bebo post Udta Punjab. The actor was spotted having a ball with Kareena, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani on the sets of the film.
Sharing his thoughts on working with Kareena again, Diljit recalled, "The experience was very different. One day I was dressed in a very over the top costume as my character in the film is very loud and even Kareena was dressed in an urban style. We were walking together and discussing the same thing that how different the characters were in Udta Punjab than Good News. Completely different."
"She has performed really well in Good News," he added. "Despite being she is such a big actor, she is so down to earth and she treats everyone with lots of respect on the sets," he said.
