EXCLUSIVE: Chunky Panday on Ananya Panday’s birthday: I want her to achieve whatever I couldn't

Chunky Panday’s darling daughter Ananya Panday has got her big Bollywood ticket with Student Of The Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. She is yet to make her debut but has a huge fan following on social media platforms. Today, Ananya is celebrating her 20th birthday and she was with her family. I got in touch with Chunky Panday to know how she celebrated her birthday and what he wishes for her as a father. Talking about the celebration, he told us, “We went to Ming Yang last night at the Taj and that's Ananya's favourite eatery joint. What we got for her birthday is a little pup. On her 10th birthday, we got her one and now on her 20th birthday. It's a decade thing and she wanted a pup.” That’s surely adorable!
When I asked what he wishes for her, he told us, “Well, I want her to achieve whatever I couldn't. They say whatever you couldn't achieve it should be achieved through your children. Yes, I just hope and pray. I am excited and nervous both. I have sent her to college and she should now learn by herself.” We are sure that she will make a mark in the industry and make her father proud.
Many star kids have ventured their way to Bollywood be it Janhvi Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan. It’s important to keep a balance in this competitive world. I asked Chunky if he gives any advice to her given the fact she is soon going to make her Bollywood debut.
On this, he said, “I don't give her advice. I always take advises from Ananya in fact. I ask her what should I wear or which picture I should keep and she usually is always right. It's not that I am giving her too much importance by doing this but I feel the younger generation can sink in and tune in with what's happening around than we can or were. I have given her the best education and I leave the judgement to her. All I keep telling her is to not imitate others and follow your own path. I hope she does well in life.”
