EXCLUSIVE: Christopher Nolan and Robert Pattinson to film Tenet in Grant Road for three nights; DEETS INSIDE
Christopher Nolan is filming Tenet in Mumbai, India. The ace director was spotted shooting scenes with Robert Pattinson, David John Washington and Dimple Kapadia on Monday. We now have more scoop on his India schedule.
It is out in the open that Christopher Nolan is in Mumbai. The Academy Award-nominated filmmaker is shooting for his upcoming film Tenet in several parts of South Bombay. The director kickstarted the filming in Colaba Causeway earlier this week and took his entourage, which also consists of Robert Pattinson, Dimple Kapadia and David John Washington, on the sea by the Gateway of India to film a scene. The team is currently shooting near Taj Mahal Hotel. We now hear that the team will be headed to Grant Road for a three-night shoot schedule.
An insider told Pinkvilla exclusively that the team will be making its way to the famous South Bombay locale to film a few scenes starting tonight. We hear that the team is done with its outdoor shoot and will be filming a few scenes in an almost deserted building in Grant Road. We have also learned that the building constitutes hardly three to four families. The one floor of the 23-story building will double up as a filming spot and the terrace will also be used for filming. A team of 300-400 people is expected to make their way to the location and film a few scenes.
Pattinson, Kapadia and Washington are expected to be at the location. Pinkvilla had previously revealed that the cast and crew of Tenet were filming their first shot in India at the wee hours of Monday. Sources told us Washington filmed his scene in the Causeway Market.
While Pattinson, Washington and Dimple were spotted in India, Tenet also constitutes of Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Himesh Patel in the lead.
