Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has been in news since a long time as the Rajput Karni Sena and some political leaders are against the film's release as they believe it distorts the historical facts and has love scene between Rani Padmini and Khilji. However, Bhansali had clearly stated long back that there is no such scene in the film. But even as the film is about to release, the protests are still going on.

Hence, SLB shared a video in which he again assured that there is no such scene between these two characters and said that he respects the queen for her bravery and sacrifice. The Devdas director said that he made this film with honesty, responsibility and lots of hard work.

The film is under the trial and all the movie buffs have been waiting for CBFC to review the film. We got in touch with CBFC member Vivek Agnihotri to know more about this.

When asked about the whole fuss around the film, he told us, "On a personal level, I think it's an extortion. As far as CBFC is concerned, when the film will come, it will be viewed like any other film. There's nothing special about it. CBFC is a constitution which is governed by rules and policies. We haven't watched the film yet. The film is not ready yet and post that they will send us."

The movie stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.

Padmavati is slated to release on December 1.
