EXCLUSIVE: Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan mounted on a budget more than Baahubali 2; read to know

Thugs of Hindostan is one of the the most awaited releases of this year. The movie has an ensemble cast that includes big Bollywood names - Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The movie is set in the British East India and revolves around pirates who are fighting for freedom. Aamir, as we all know, put his soul in his projects and always comes up with amazing films. Fans are waiting for Thugs to finally hit the screens. What if we tell you that budget of this film has exceeded than the budget of Baahubali 2? Yes, you heard it right! 

Our source told us that the movie’s budget is around Rs 325 Crores. Well, that’s quite a high bet! If we talk about some figures here, the budget of Baahubali 1 was Rs 180 Crores, and Baahubali 2 was made on a budget of Rs 250 Crores. So, around Rs 430 Crores were spend on two films. Here, for one film, they spent Rs 325 Crores. With this, we can say Thugs of Hindostan is the most expensive film made in Bollywood. We have reached out to YRF on the same. We will update you as soon as we get confirmation from their end.

If you are wondering how will they recover, then let us tell you the buzz in high and it might get around Rs 50 Crores in Day 1 of its release (pan India). We had earlier told you that YRF is planning a strategy and would now increase the ticket price by 10%. It will be even higher than Sanju's rates.
