One should trust Aamir Khan when it comes to getting into the skin of a character. He leaves no stone unturned for the same. Each of his films is best remembered for the characters he portrays and the preparation he puts behind them. The latest to get added in his list is the character of Osho.

Rumours of Khan being cast in the titular role have been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. Though there is no official confirmation on it yet, we have learnt from reliable sources that the actor has greenlighted the project and is planning to begin the prep for it soon. The movie is going to be directed by Shakun Batra, who directed the critically and commercially acclaimed Kapoor and Sons, and will be jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Aamir Khan's production house.

Informs our source, "Aamir Khan is very excited with the script that has come his way. He gave his nod and is all set to dive into the skin of the character soon. The prep has already begun and one shouldn't be surprised if we get to see a different Aamir Khan while promoting his much awaited Thugs of Hindostan. However, Khan won't be signing the dotted line until he is convinced about the look and the other details of his character and the film."

Adds another source, "Both Aamir Khan and Karan Johar are quite gung-ho about this movie because despite knowing each other for so many years and working in the same industry, this is the first time that they are collaborating together. Aamir and KJo are jointly producing this movie, which will be announced only after the former is done with Thugs of Hindostan. Aamir doesn't want to compromise on his policy of working on one film at a time."

Well, now this is indeed interesting. We can't wait to see AK as Osho Rajneesh! How about you?!
