EXCLUSIVE: Nikkhil Advani - I will work with Saif Ali Khan in future; will make a formal announcement
In an exclusive interaction with us, Nikkhil Advani spoke about working with Saif Ali Khan in Baazaar.
Saif Ali Khan is all set to be seen in Nikkhil Advani's Baazaar. Set against the backdrop of the heady cocktail of city life in Mumbai and the dangerous world of stock trading, the film stars Saif Ali Khan in a role that has been inspired by the folklore surrounding the markets.
The poster of the film which features Saif Ali Khan was appreciated by the fans. He was seen in a formal business suit and looked quite intense in the poster. The tagline on the poster reads, "Yaha paisa Bhagwan nahi, par Bhagwan se kam bhi nahi."
According to a report in a leading daily, it was stated that Nikkhil is planning to work with Saif again and has a script based on a real-life incident in Delhi. We got in touch with Nikhhil and he told us, "I want to work with Saif and actually I want to work with all actors I have worked with. I have many scripts. I can't talk about it now. My next film is Batla House and I will be concentrating on that."
He went on to add, "I will work with Saif in future. We will surely make a formal announcement." We asked him about the current status of Baazaar. Talking about it, Advani said, "Right now, the climax is being shot and Saif is standing next to me and Gaurav Chawla is setting up the shot. I am very excited that we have finished 30 days of shooting and in another month's time the film will be completed and then we will be ready to release the film in December."
Nikhkil also directed Kal Ho Naa Ho and it was his first film with him. We asked him has anything changed since then, to which Advani said, "It's a very special time for me to be watching Saif getting directed by Gaurav. My first film was with Saif and Gaurav has been an assistant director for 9 years and now his first film is with Saif. Every day is a wonderful day. When we were shooting for Kal Ho Naa Ho, we both were young and today, Saif is a big star and I am enjoying the whole experience."
