EXCLUSIVE: Arjun Kapoor - I have had a Half Girlfriend in the past; you wouldn't want such a situation
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Half Girlfriend's jodi Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were at their candid best.
Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to entice their fans in their upcoming film, Half Girlfriend. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film will see Arjun portraying the role of a national-level basketball player, Madhav Jha. The movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role who will be seen playing Arjun's romantic interest.
Just before the release tomorrow, we got to meet both Arjun and Shraddha and the two were at their candid best. On the lines of Half Girlfriend, we asked do they have real life half girlfriend and boyfriend respectively. Arjun Kapoor accepted the fact that he has had one such sort of relationship in the past.
Arjun said, "No, I don't have a real life half girlfriend. But, you wouldn't want to have such a situation and that happens because there are complications. There are things that you can't speak about right now. In my life, I have had it in the past, but in this moment, I would want full commitment. I am ready for it."
On the other hand, Shraddha went back to her old days and told us about her crush on a schoolmate. She said, "I was in school and I had a crush on someone. I liked him so much, but I was really shy and I wouldn't be able to tell him and so I used to blank call him. I had the courage to blank call him, but not say a word. I couldn't be his half girlfriend or quarter girlfriend or anything."
The two were fun when we played games with them. We gave Arjun aka Madhav some quirky situation and he had to convince Shraddha aka Riya for giving a nod - one how will Madhav stop Riya from a breakup and the second situation what if Madhav find her cheating on him.
At the end, Shraddha said Phir Bhi Tumko Chahungi for all the Pinkvilla fans.
