Nagesh Kukunoor's film Dhanak has been listed in the category of Best Children Film and he is elated about it.
Today, the complete list of the winners of 64th National Film Awards is finally out. Nagesh Kukunoor's film Dhanak has been listed in Best Children Film and he is elated about it. We called up and we were first ones to inform him about this big win.
Talking to us, Nagesh said, "If you wish such an award, you are obviously thrilled and this is my first reaction as you are the one who has informed about it. Whenever you make a film, you don't think on the parameters of it being a big or small one."
He added, "Dhanak is the kind of a film I wanted to make and I have put in all my love and efforts. But, rest of the things are not in my control. If people like a film, it reached on different heights. It's an honor. I just got to know about it and will celebrate after I will tell it to others.
Dhanak revolves around the story of two siblings - Pari an Chotu. While Chotu is Salman Khan's fan, Pari loves Shah Rukh Khan. The journey about Chotu who is visually impaired and Pari finally manages to get her eyesight back and SRK helps them.
