Divya Khosla Kumar's Kabhi Yaadon Mein is receiving a positive feedback from the viewers. Divya, who has played the role of a mother in the music video, goes all out to be with her son who is in the hostel and doesn't know of the fact that he has lost her forever. The track is a recreated version of Abhijeet Bhattacharya's Kabhi Yaadon Mein Aaun (2003). Interestingly, she also starred in the original video.

On the eve of the song launch, we met Divya at her office. Clad in a beautiful white lehenga and with a smile on her face, she welcomed us. We asked her how did the idea about the video strike her and Divya's answer was simple. "It's the recreated version of my own music video and I was nostalgic about it and I told Bhushan (Kumar) about it and he agreed. I'm glad that people are loving it and giving it a positive response," she said, with a sparkle in her eyes!

But which version does she prefer? Replying to our query innocently, she said, "Of course, this one. This is latest and has an emotional connect to it."

The song might have made you teary-eyed and there comes a moment, when Divya's son keeps shouting her name and cries aloud - if you're a mother, this moment will take it all to tug the strings of your heart. On the same lines, Divya, with a lump in her voice shared something emotional with us. She said, "My mother has also not been keeping well for the last two years. She has always pushed me to be financially independent and you know how important is it for all the Indian women to be stable in their career."

Divya married producer Bhushan Kumar in 2005.  We asked Divya if it was easy for her to direct films - Yaariyan and Sanam Re - and her answer was NO. The 35-year-old director said, "Everyone has their share of difficulties. Even the biggest stars have to struggle to get the success they want to achieve. But, for me, being financially strong was the most important thing. I never knew that I'll be the part of the T-Series family."

Divya started her journey with acting and she was seen in Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo (2004) opposite Akshay Kumar. She is pretty and now even is a producer's wife, then why didn't she continue her acting career? "Well, that's destiny. It was not easy to even direct Yaariyan as it was a new lot (actors) and I had to train them for one and a half years and it was followed by Sanam Re," she replied.

Taking the cue from our previous question, we asked her that there were rumours that she will be directing Akshay, who once she romanced onscreen. Divya didn't confirm the development but said, "We, right now, are working on the script and then we'll look into the casting bit."

If not Akshay, then is there any Bollywood star who is there on her wishlist for directing a film? "Well, almost everyone. But, yes, I would want to direct Amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan)," she answered, before signing off, smilingly.
