EXCLUSIVE: I like Krrish; want to act with Hrithk Roshan - Sunny Pawar from Oscar nominated film Lion!

In an interview with us, the 8-year-old star from Oscars nominated film Lion, Sunny Pawar opened up on his experience of working with Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman.

The 8-year-old Sunny Pawar stole many hearts with his cute antics when he appeared on the stage of Golden Globe awards with his Lion co-star Dev Patel. 

From the lanes of slums of Kalina in Mumbai to soon attending the Oscars, the journey has been an exciting one for Sunny. Well, in an interview with us, he told how he got the role in the film. Sunny, with glitter in his eyes, said, "I was in my school when I was taken for giving an audition and my father was also there with me. They told me to act and I did."

Sunny plays the role of Saroo in the film, a 5-year-old Indian boy who got separated from his family and after turning into an adult (Dev Patel) is on a mission to find his identity and original home. He was adopted by a Australian family and but with the help of Google Earth, he starts his search. 

As Sunny plays the younger version of Dev Patel in the film, he also shared how he used to like playing with the actor on the film sets. "I used to play cricket with Dev. He is very affectionate and we even used to talk to each other. He also used to take me out and we bonded really well," said Pawar with a smile on his face. 

Sunny also shared a beautiful bond with Nicole Kidman and told us how he used to play games with her on sets and even used to converse with him and she, like Dev, also took care of him. Lion is surely Sunny's big Hollywood ticket, but does this adorable kid also want to act in Bollywood? Well, showing his excitement, he said, "Yes, I like Krrish and I want to act with Hrithik Roshan. He is a superhero and would one day want to meet him and get his pictures clicked with him."

Not just Hrithik Roshan, Sunny also likes Ajay Devgn and told us that he loves watching Singham. Talking about Oscars, the little star said, "I am excited to attend Oscars with Dev, but haven't prepared for it yet."

Pawar also told us that he visited Disneyland and Times Square and had a lot of fun there. The 8-year-old also has fascination for wrestling and said, "I love watching WWE and I like Undertaker and John Cena."

Sunny Pawar has made his parents proud. Talking about their reaction, he said, "They were really happy to see me back in India and I'll also make them watch my film."
