EXCLUSIVE: Daddy SRK to his kids- Be on the cover of Time Magazine for being the best Locksmith, not because you're my children
There's no denying that Shah Rukh Khan is a doting father. This large-hearted actor who is often seen with his little munchkin AbRam at the airport, gives in to the fact that he is a protective father but he has his justified reasons behind it.
In conversation with Pinkvilla on his recent trip to Delhi, SRK candidly spoke about his relationship with kids (Aryan, Suhana and AbRam) and explains why is he often spotted carrying his youngest son AbRam at the airport. "If AbRam has to go the airport then of course, I will have to carry him since I am not a very prammy father, I think if a father comes along then he's strong enough to carry the baby." says Daddy Khan.
When asked if it bothers him when AbRam attracts the limelight, considering he's been a very protective father to his other kids all these years, he gets serious and elucidates, "I am a very protective father and my protection is not about those airport pictures or selfies that come. I am protective about the fact that they should not have access to importance just because they're my kids. they don't deserve it and my kids know that very clearly since that's something very essential in our household."
Adding further he says, "They know that you don't become famous just for being a famous person's kids. You gotta be famous on your own, in whatever senses you are. Right now AbRam is too young. He's a cute kid like all kids are cute and people like to click his photographs. It's not that I wanted to. But when he grows older of an age to understand, I will get protective on those terms with him too. I am as protective as other parents would be."
King Khan also makes it loud and clear that he wants to see his kids on the cover of a leading magazine but on their own merit. "Aryan and Suhana are brought up in a way where's it's like, Listen- my thing shouldn't be what you become famous for. Be on the cover of Time magazine for being the best Locksmith in the world but not because you're my children." says the 51-year old actor.
