Will Aish quit acting? This is the most significant topic of discussion in the film industry these days. What's the future of world fame beauty-cum-actress ? This news is taking rounds in the tinsel world. After her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan, Aiswhwarya Rai had boldly said that she would continue in the profession post-marriage. The Bachchan family hadn't denied it, too. And, Amitabh Bachchan, her father-in-law had left the decision to her wisdom. However, reports from her in-law's houses like 'Prateeksha' and 'Jalsa' in Mumbai, indicate to the contrary. According to these circles, Aish would have to limit her assignments in the near future. First, she would complete all those movies that are already on floor. Second, she would limit playing roles in movies with her hubby Abhishek only. Her in-laws don't want their bahu to be away from their home for weeks or months together for outdoor shooting of movies. After all, this has been the tradition of the bachchan family.
Soon after her marriage with Amitabh Bachchan , Jaya Bhaduri ( also a distinguished actor) had almost quit the industry. Besides, there is another and more significant reason behind it. There is a lack of compatible heroes to play opposite her. Most of the senior actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have been reluctant to act with her though for their own reasons. For example, Shah Rukh had made an announcement to this effect when Salman had caught him by the neck during the shooting of 'Chalte Chalte'. Aamir is angry with her as she had sought too high a price for acting with him in 'Mangal Pandey'. Though Aish shot to fame in 'Dhoom 2 ' opposite Hrithik Roshan, but the latter's long and intense lip locking scene with her in the movie is always a thorn in her way of working along with him.

Other actors like Salman Khan and Viveik Oberoi are taboo, on other counts ( lesser said than better) . They have been at loggerheads with her for quite a long time. At present, Aish is busy shooting Ashutosh Gowarikar's 'Akbar Jodha' opposite Hrithik Roshan. However, reports of intense love scenes picturized on both have only been irking the Bachchan parivar. Under such circumstances, it would be too difficult for Aish to continue with her growing career. But, to discontinue at this stage will not be too easy either. How would Aish maintain the balance is going to be a Herculean task for her? Would Amitabh Bachchan come to the rescue of her bahu over the traditional family values ? Otherwise, a growing Bollywood star will tumble down like nine pins! Aish fans need beware!!
