Urmila Matondkar's Sound of Music
For her forthcoming film Urmila Matondakr will be seen in a role very similar to that of Julie Andrews from the classic musical hit The Sound of Music which released in 1965. The film we are talking about is Run Mein Fun which is adapted from a story written by the famous author Ruskin Bond.
Yes, Urmila's character is deliberately tailored to be like that of Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music , says director Suniil Advani. She plays a music teacher in the film.
If one has seen The Sound of Music , Julie Andrews was the governess of seven children of whom she took care of and also taught music. This film will be Urmila's first children's film.
Even her clothes are made to resemble what Julie Andrews wore in the film, adds the director.
However, this film revolves around two boys who have runaway from their boarding school and Urmila does only a cameo in it. When the boys run away they meet all kinds of people. Some of them are good and some of them are bad. Urmila turns out to be the good one who helps them along the way, says Suniil.
This happens to be Urmila's second film which is adapted, her first being Pinjar.
