He opened a high school for girls and MNS chief Raj Thackeray charged the superstar for preferring Uttar Pradesh over Maharashtra for opening a girls’ college. Two motor-cycle borne youths threw glass bottles at actor Amitabh Bachchan’s residence in the wee hours on Monday in the wake of Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) attacking the superstar for alleged negligence of Maharashtra.
At that moment Bachchan had been shooting for Sujit Sircar’s latest film Shoe Bite for over a week in the Himachal Pradesh capital and was scheduled to stay on for at least another week. Big B had to cut short his shooting schedule here and flew to Mumbai on Monday owing to the news of attack on his bungalow ‘Pateeksha’.following reports that miscreants had attacked his house, police sources said.
Meanwhile, son Abhishek Bachchan turns 32 today. Abhishek is currently shooting in Jaipur for Rakesh Mehra’s new film ‘Dilli 6’. His family including wife Aishwarya and father Amitabh Bachchan are all in Jaipur for Abhishek’s first birthday since his marriage. Mother Jaya and family friend Amar Singh are also at the Rambagh Palace Hotel in Jaipur for this special occasion.
