Sushmita Sen, Rani Mukerji and Bipasha Basu were felicitated today at the closing ceremony of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) by Mamata Banerjee, the honourable chief minister of West Bengal, on behalf of the state of West Bengal for being woman achievers in Cinema.
"The idea was to award women from Bengal who have done well at the national level in Bollywood," KIFF director Jadav Mondal told reporters.
Bipasha's father, who was with her on stage, was honored too.
Coincidentally, all 3 ladies chose to wear Sabyasachi Sarees.
