Shazahn Padamsee & Anjali Tendulkar at Lior Surchard show
This weekend Mumbaikars had an extraordinary experience as theatre veteran Raëll Padamsee’s brand new venture Numero Uno Productions brought to India for the very first time an international artist, who is known to be Uri Geller’s successor, none other than the mind reader and mentalist “Lior Suchard”. Lior has enthralled audiences worldwide from celebrities like Jay Leno to Barbra Streisand and from Bill Clinton to Arnold Schwarzenegger to Lionardo Dicaprio and many more. This weekend his amazing charm and supernatural talent won many hearts in Mumbai as he presented 3 shows over the weekend at a Sobo theatre and the audience was totally shocked and amazed, they went absolutely crazy and freaked out. Amazing feats were performed by Lior from guessing people’s bank a/c pin nos to names of their first loves, to predicting what they will say or do even before they have said it, made them feel sensations without touching them, guessed where the coin is hidden amongst 20 hands, predicted words from random newspapers, bent spoons and broken glasses without touching and it goes on and on. It was unbelievable and truly mind boggling stuff. Each and everyone went gasping as to “How does he do it?” His marvellous stage presence and aura was magical. The who’s who of the city came and thoroughly enjoyed like Ashutosh Gowariker with wife Sunita who was astonished, Shiamak Davar who gave umpteen no. of standing ovations as he loved the performances, Shazahn Padamsee who came with Sharon Prabhakar, Dr. Mukesh Batra and Dr. Akshay Batra with his son, Niraj and Minal Bajaj with Sajjan and Sangita Jindal, Raju and Esther Daswani, Sanngeeta Singh from Percept who was surprised, Dr. Yusuf Hamied, Consul General Orna Sagiv with her husband from the Israel Consulate, Anjali Tendulkar, Rajashree Birla, Pritish Nandy, Sabira Merchant who was shocked when Lior guessed her first love, Samir and Palak Seth, Nauheed Cyrusi, Shriya Kishore Femina Miss India Earth who was excited when she was asked to safeguard the key to the secret box. All in all it was a power packed show.
