Shah Rukh Khan at Zee Carnival 2008, London
London February 15th – 17th 2008
All London was set to celebrate India and Indian entertainment last weekend. Similar to the Asian Lifestyle Show in July 2007, now the Zee Carnival was up to present Indian fashion, music, life style, live cooking and lots of Entertainment articles like music CD’s or movie DVD’s much more to a huge amount of guest with or without Asian background.
The whole event was very well organized and it was quite comfortable to walk through the ailes and have a look to all the interesting things presented on the stands.
There also were lots of stars announced to do autograph sessions and Q&A panel on stage. Ram Kapoor (Kasamh Se), Smriti Iraani (Teen Bahuraaniyaan) and Twinkle Bajpai (Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan) and last but not least the Badshah of Bollywood himself Shah Rukh Khan are the most important to mention.
On the Zee Entertainment Stage not only musicians like Jay Sean, Rishi Rich and Aman Hayer made a huge crowd singing and dancing also Shah Rukh Khan had an appearance twice for all three days to do a Q&A panel with the audience for 15 to 20 minutes each. With his well-known sense of humour and his kindness he made his fans and his fans-to-be happy – like he always does at such events. King Khan also was there for an autograph session for all three days – twice a day again. Huge crowds were waiting in line and around the autograph stage to see him but also the other stars. Most of them wanted autographs, take a look at him or just wanted to touch him.
On Friday the situation was pretty relaxed but on Saturday and Sunday the doors were closed – the event was sold out and it became a bit wild and for security reasons Shah Rukh Khan could not get so close to the people like he wanted. It would have been too dangerous for him and also for the audience in front of the autograph stage. But he again gave so much to the people that nobody left with a bitter feeling. Once more he proved why so many people adore and love him so much.
All in all the Zee Carnival 2008 was a three days party and made one looking forward to the next one.
