Gone are the thunder thigh days, today before us is a svelte Sri draped in beautiful saris in gorgeous hues with coordinated jewelry and handbags. Sri has come a long way from her gawky “16 Vayadhinile” years. Sri was a reigning superstar in all the languages she acted in – be it Tamil, Telugu or Hindi. By those standards alone she can be rightfully crowned as the lone shining star in north as well as south India. Sri is a delight to watch at any Bollywood event – she dazzles us with her presence and amazing style. The reticent star sure knows to speak volumes with color alone. Here’s to her for making us young’uns wanna run to a sari shop and buy those whole 6 yards.
