Sanjay Dutt released on bail

The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who had been sentenced for six years by the Tada court on the 31st of July.
The bail is valid till the time the Tada court provides him a copy of its judgement to Dutt.
Likewise, Sanjay Dutt will not be allowed to travel abroad and his passport will be kept under the trial court. While out on bail, he will have to appear once a week before a police station.
