Crowned Miss World in the year 2000, the sultry beauty made her film debut two years later. But it was not a Hindi film. Her first film was Thamizhan, a Tamil film directed by A Majith.
The hero of the film was Ilayathalapathy Vijay, a man who is tipped to take over the superstar mantle from Rajnikanth. The film was a flop and Priyanka's debut was a disaster. Thankfully, she has had better luck in Bollywood.
