It was an evening that raised a toast to Fashion under the starlit skies of Mumbai’s most celebrated restaurant The Olive Bar & Kitchen-Bandra- A place where beautiful people meet to celebrate life’s simple journey.
AD & Sabina Singh played host to an after party for Designer Sanchita Ajjampur who showcased her collection at the Fashion Week that enthralled the audience. Sanchita’s collection - “THE FIRE BIRD”- Winter Festive 2012, was set in a dream like jewelled garden weaving a tapestry of dark and delicate stories seamlessly into art. It was reinforced by the primordial, blues, violets and greys and regenerated through fluttering turbulent reds. The collection highlighted the glamour of the ball gown and its contextual accessories down the fashion decades through painstaking embellishments.
The event was vibrant as guests were seen discussing their passion for fashion while sipping on wine & cocktails and sampling Chef's special appetizers like Big Pree with Saffron Honey, Spanish Frittata, Salmon Cake and Shrimp Croquettes served by the warm staff of Olive. Those who joined the hosts included Rohit Bal, Suhel Seth, Yash & Avanti Birla, Anil & Sabina Chopra, Bandana Tiwari, Model Diandra Soares, Zeba & Rajesh Kohli, Upen Patel, Monikangana, Rahul Dev, Atul Kasbekar, Model Niketan N, Vikram Razaida, Designer Narendra Kumar, Designer Mathieu Gugumus Leguillon, Sheena Sippy, Designer Duo- Shivan & Naresh and Kadambari Lakhani to name a few!
It sure was a great evening- the scrumptious food and the elegant ambience of The Olive Bar and Kitchen- Bandra was all that was needed to mark the success of the phenomenal show!
