Actress Katrina Kaif attended the "Evening with Spice" event organised by Dr. BK Modi's US$1.5 bn Spice Group in her capacity as the global brand ambassador. For the first time, Katrina's 3-D image will be incorporated in the logo of the Company in a dynamic format. Katrina interacted with Dr. B. K. Modi, Global Chairman of the Spice Group. But the highlight of the evening was the104-ct diamond necklace from Cartier, which was worn by Dr. Modi's better half Veena. Actress cum compere Sophie Chowdhury, actor Dharmendra and producer Smita Thackeray graced the occasion. Spice Enfotainment is embarking on the most ambitious international film project "Buddha" to be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. There is also another project, "No Problem" by Anees Bazmee. Dr Modi’s 26-year-old daughter Divya, who is a CFA from the US, was introduced to the best financial brains in Mumbai and she would head the financial services business as executive director. Also present was her 34-year-old brother Dilip, with an education background in technology and management fields, heads the telecommunication venture of mobile handsets, value-added services and handset retailing. .
