John Abraham spotted at the police station.
John Abraham, sentenced in a 2006 hit-and-run case, was detained Friday pending a hearing on his bail plea in the high court, police said.
A magistrate's court had in 2010 sentenced him to 15 days simple imprisonment and fined him Rs.15,000. He had appealed in a sessions court and obtained bail. The court dismissed his plea Friday.
Two people were hurt in the 2006 accident.
