Deepika, Ranbir & Nihar face to face!
Deepika Padukone sure is putting as much distance as possible between her and cricket. And it looks like that’s why she turned up on the Salman Khan Foundation celebrity football match held recently in Pune.
She was there to lend support to her current lover Ranbir Kapoor who was a part of the Bollywood team.
But what really made the whole scene completely filmi was that Deepika’s ex boyfriend Nihar Pandya was standing at the baseline cheering the Bollywood team as well!
“Deepika arrived during the match. She was standing quietly in the corner as she didn’t want to attract the media towards her. But then we saw Nihar was standing not too far away from her. He was cheering the Bollywood team which included the man Deepika had dumped him for!” says a source.
When Deepika had moved to Mumbai she stayed with Nihar Pandya’s family as she worked her way into the modeling circuit in the city. Even while she was filming for Om Shanti Om she was dating Nihar but half way through the film she decided to move into her own pad. Soon came rumours of Padukone and Ranbir hitting it off which had led to problems between her and Nihar.
“Initially when she was dating Ranbir during OSO there were lots of fights and Deepika moved out soon thereafter. In fact at one point Nihar and Ranbir almost got into a fist fight over the actress,” says the source.
It seems Nihar was there to lend support to her Bollywood pals and although he was there he didn’t speak to Ranbir and only exchanged a hello with his ex girlfriend.
