In Austria, Locals Confuse Salman for SRK
While shooting for Subhash Ghai's Yuvraj in Austria, Salman Khan was mistaken for Shah Rukh Khan by the locals. Apparently Salman kept his cool even though he was not too pleased until Katrina Kaif started teasing him.
According to sources, people would often look at Salman and call out Shah Rukh's name. It happened first when they were shooting a scene outdoors and a group of European locals started shouting out the name of Shah Rukh as soon as Salman arrived on the sets. An amused Salman simply smiled back at them. Several such incidents occurred. It seems that the next day, at another place in the same city, a crowd of girls went crazy shouting out the name of SRK. They had been told by the unit members that the biggest Bollywood star was shooting there. Salman's girlfriend Katrina even made fun of him. The actor was deeply embarrassed and decided to just concentrate on his shoot. But when the crowds did not stop chanting Shah Rukh's name, he is believed to have turned around and told them that he was Salman Khan and not Shah Rukh Khan and then burst out laughing. At least this is one actor who is secure about himself, a trait which is rare in actors.
