Amitabh Bachchan launches Aadesh Shrivastava's music album
Paying tribute to the victimsof terror attacks across planet earth, celebrated music composer Aadesh Shrivastava launched a musicalbum titled “Sound Of Peace” on thethird anniversary of 26/11 in Cinemax,Mumbai today. The evening comprised of an act of admiration andfelicitation as ACP Narsima Sherkhaneof Maharashtra Police Force washanded over a cheque amounting to Rs. 10lakhs for the profound courage and unconditional commitment extended by thepolice force during the 26/11. Otherpersonalities on the dais included legendary actor Shri Amitabh Bachchan, classical maestro Ustad Rashid Khan and Netsurf Entertainment, Managing Director Mr. Sujit Jain who all came together topatronize this concept and commenced the journey towards perpetual peace andharmony.
Sound Of Peace isa solicitous music album with 10 songsthat pays homage to people who lost their lives fighting terrorism and protecting the nation featuring innovativecompositions by international artists like AmitabhBachchan, Akon, Ustad Rashid Khan, Wyclef Jean, Shaan, Roopkumar Rathod, PamelaLajoie, Vijayta, and LondonPhilharmonic Orchestra amongst others. The album also features Avinesh and Avitesh, sons of AadeshShrivastava, who make their first public appearance on the big screen.
Speaking fromacross the globe Wyclef Jean said, "Aadesh is a musical genius, workingwith him is always a pleasure. With the natural disaster in Haiti and terrorist attacks worldwide, this is the least we can do to support this cause"
Elaboratingfurther, Shri Amitabh Bachchan said,“ Kehte hain jahan achhai hoti hai wahanburai ka bhi saaya hota hai, lekin burai kitna bhi lad jhagad le anth mein sirfachhai ka palda bhari hota hai. Ye humari koshish hai ki hum aatank par aman kajhanda lehraayein. Sound of Peace - An album for a cause.”
Adding on Akon said, “Aadesh is a brother to me. I stand by him to support any cause. When Iheard this song in LA I did not have second though for a second.. Jaago, peacefor all!!"
The brainchildbehind this initiative, AadeshShrivastava stated, "Terrorismis very emotional for me, I lost 2 dear friends at 26/11. Killing peopleanywhere in the world is not right. The language I know fluent is music.Therefore, Sound of Peace is to propagate World Peace"
