Akshay Kumar on fire in ‘Welcome’ as he performed his daring stunt.
Akshay Kumar is the star, who set the trend of actors performing their own stunts is ; whether it’s sky diving or bungee jumping, he does it all.
While shooting for ‘Welcome’ Akshay was briefed about his scene in which the body double was to jump in the fire and rescue Katrina. Akki was not pleased with the idea of a duplicate doing the scene and as always, the actor took charge and decided to jump in the fire himself.
Akshay ended up burning his hand in the fire but, he didn’t make a big deal about it in fact, the actor was so low key about his fire injury that he only shared it with the crew members once the scene was approved by the director.
Although, Akshay is one of the biggest stars of 2007, he sure has learned how to keep his head on his shoulders and modesty is one thing that is for sure ‘Welcome’ in Bollywood.
