Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is known for depiction of strong characters. Whether it is the role of a tortured wife in Provoked or portraying the mythological character Jodhaa in Jodhaa Akbar, she tells every story with ease and flawlessly.

She had walked on the sharp edge to prove her acting potential. Her beauty and talent is speechless and assessing these angles, she has been decided as one of the prime contenders for the role of Benazir Bhutto, former Pakistani Prime Minister!

Apparently, UTV will produce the project and scriptwriter-lyricist Neelesh Misra, who is known for writing the lyrics of the films like Jism, Johnny Gaddaar, Jannat and Sanjay Gupta’s Alibaug, has been approached to write the script.

Misra confirms, “I have been offered the project, but haven’t accepted it yet.”

Before moving ahead, the makers need to seek the permission of the Pakistani government and other officials, and with this aim in mind, they are planning to fly to Pakistan to meet Benazir Bhutto’s family and the Pakistani government.

Ash has been approached for the role as her personality matches the power and posture of Benazir Bhutto.
