Aashish Chaudhary Throw His Weight Around
Producer Surendra Bhatia is ruing the day he signed actor Ashish Chowdhury for his film Rama Rama Kya Hai Yeh Drama, also starring Amrita Arora. The actor has been throwing his weight and making life quite hellish for the maker.
Apparently the actor wants certain portions of the film to be reshot while Bhatia feels that there is no need for that. According to Bhatia, the actor had been fully briefed about the film and his role in it. But after the actor saw some of the rushes of the film, he started insisting that one of the songs be reshot along with some other portions of the film. Now that the actor's recent starrer Dhamaal is creating a minor storm at the box office, he is trying to arm twist the producer and director. He has started giving them a tough time and has apparently refused to dub for the film. The producer feels that it is unfair on the part of the actor to insist on reshooting portions of the film when the entire film is over. According to Bhatia, he is small producer and if goes ahead and complies with the actor's demand, his film's budget will shoot up unnecessarily. But the actor seems to be singing another tune. According to Aashish, he wants the song to be reshot as it is looking very bad. He claims to have offered to pay for the reshoot. So what is the problem, he wonders.
