ENOi CONFIRMS disbandment rumours; Their agency reveals they are terminating their contract on THIS date
ENOi recently confirmed via their agency that they are disbanding after their debut in April 2019. Scroll down to see what their agency said.
According to reports via Soompi, Kithewhale Entertainment just announced that their boy band ENOi is disbanding. The agency even released a statement via the group’s official fan cafe which detailed the shocking news. They started off by thanking fans who have supported ENOi over the years, after which they announced the group’s disbandment and revealed that they are terminating each members’ exclusive contracts. The letter further stated that the decision is amicable and has been agreed upon by all members Avin, Jinwoo, and J-kid (excluding Laon, Dojin, Hamin, and Gun), and the group feels best to terminate their exclusive contracts with us as of January 31, 2021, when it expires. The agency’s statement then apologised to fans who have supported ENOi.
They then revealed that group members Laon, Dojin, Hamin, and Gun wanted to stay with the company, and will be supported by the agency to “carry out more active and diverse activities.” The agency then expressed gratitude to Avin, Jinwoo, and J-kid, who are leaving the agency. The agency stated that even though their contracts are ending, they will continue to support the boys from afar.
They then apologised to fans for causing concern and delaying the announcement, stating that they just wanted to be sure about their decision. They concluded their statement by requesting fans to keep supporting the group members as they venture on their individual journeys. If you didn’t know, ENOi made their debut in April 2019 with Bloom and their most recent comeback was with the special album W.A.Y in August 2020.
