Will Kareena's bad luck with Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar change?
Kareena Kapoor has had a bit of bad luck when it comes to reuniting with her past co-star Hrithik Roshan, and pairing up with Farhan Akhtar.
Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor last worked with each other in 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon', and over the years several attempts to bring the duo together (including Kismet Talkies, Dil Dhadakne Do and Shuddhi) have somehow never worked out. Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor were meant to star together in a few projects (Dhruv, Bombay Samurai, Dil Dhadakne Do, Amrita Pritam's Biopic), but somehow none of the projects ever materialized.
It seems that she may have a chance of working with both Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar in separate projects.
Farhan Akhtar has recently signed Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming film, which co-stars Amitabh Bachchan. The film is a high voltage drama, which has Big B playing a chess gamemaster, and Farhan his student. Kareena Kapoor confirmed that she liked the script of the film, but is yet to take a decision on the project, which requires an actress who has a good range of performance.
As for Hrithik Roshan, recent reports indicate that either Priyanka Chopra or Kareena Kapoor may be signed for 'Mohenjodaro', a period film to be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film is set to kick off in September on a majestic set.
Kareena Kapoor is currenly shooting for Singham Returns with Ajay Devgn in Goa, and will apparently finalise and announce two films when she gets back to Mumbai soon! Let's see if the jinx lifts of the Kareena-Hrithik and Kareena-Farhan pairings!
