Why is Ranbir Kapoor flipping the bird?

Ranbir Kapoor has been getting a lot of comments on Pinkvilla for flipping the bird(showing the middle finger) at the paparazzi.
Guess what? He seems to be doing it only at aiport sightings. Check here and here and at both these instances he was caught with a cigarette.
So the answer is clear! He doesn't like to be photographed with a cigarette.
So my question for you is, is it OK for him to be doing it, though it is a very subtle gesture.
