Why on earth did Sania marry Shoaib ???

Ever since the story broke out that Sania Mirza would marry Shoaib Malik, there has been nothing but bad news.
After watching all sorts of news reports on this non-issue turned national event I bring out a few facts.

1. It started out with Ayesha Siddiqi. Ayesha’s family are also pretty well off. They live in a huge house on Banajara Hills which is a posh colony of Hyderabad. During their courtship Shoaib had asked Ayesha to gift him a laptop. It seemed very strange when I heard this.
2. Imran who is Shoaib’s bro in law visited Ayesha’s family and insisted to live at their house in spite of Ayesha’s mother clearly informing him that there were no male members present and they would be glad to arrange accommodation for him at the Taj Krishna. Imran insisted and eventually stayed at their house. Whist he was there he asked numerous questions on who owns the property, it’s worth etc…
3. Shoaib never speaks for himself, he is always hiding behind his bro in law Imran , Sania or her father.

And now when they are in Pakistan :

4. As soon as they arrived there was no security for Sania or her family. Her mom fell down because of a mob at the airport and Sania had to rush to her side and tears had come in her eyes.
5. Shoaib had asked news channel in Pakistan for Rs 3.5 crore that is Rs 35 million to cover the reception. None of the news channels bowed down to such demand.
6. Shoaib’s extended family had sold their greeting cards for Rs 15000.
7. Sania and her family had to leave her own reception because of the gatecrashers and that without eating food.
8. Shoaib has been banned by his own country for a period on one year.
9. Two cases have already been registered against Shoaib. Shoaib flouted the on dish rule on weddings and was also accused of wasting electricity when the nation is under severe power crisis.

Infact ARY news channel in Pakistan showed Pakistani population minister Firdous Ashiq Awan applauding Shoaib as he has done them proud by bringing a daughter of India to Pakistan. When asked if she would be equally happy with a girl from Pakistan marrying a boy from India she said it would be a humiliation if that were to happen.

Sania and Shoaib will stick to the wedding date of April 15. In fact, Shoaib will also be able to tide over the issue of Ayesha by then. The attraction between the two was unavoidable as it’s in there in their numbers – November 15 (Sania) and February 1 (Shoaib), but it does not necessarily have to turn as favourable in the long run. A number 1 person always lets down the number 6 with pride, anger and dishonesty. The marriage benefits no one here, in fact issues of dishonesty will crop up between the two. Major differences will arise between them in 2011, break-up in 2012 and 2013 will see Sania returning to India and resuming her career. For Sania Mirza, this year comes with a promise of a sure-shot wedding, be it Shoaib Malik or someone else. I would suggest that she doesn’t marry him. It’s their common moon sign, Aries and destiny number, 5 that’s responsible for the irresistible attraction between Sania and Shoaib. However, the long term physical compatibility with Mars-Venus is not cordial.
