Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra signed for 'Chenab Gandhi'
Sanjay Leela Bhansali was meant to produce a project of epic proportions starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Rajeev Khandelwal. The project 'Chenab Gandhi' however never took off. It will now be revived by Smita Thackeray.
Smita confirmed to Mirror, "I plan to produce six to seven films this year, including Chenab Gandhi, under my new banner. Everything should be finalised by January 30."
She added, "Chenab Gandhi is all about acting and from what everybody in the industry says, I think Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra are a perfect fit. I can see only these two in this set-up".
A source close to Varun revealed that he has already read the script and has really liked it. "The narration happened a while ago," added the source.
Varun Dhawan is already commited to 'Dhishoom' directed by brother Rohit Dhawan, Vasan Bala's 'Side Hero', a film with father, David Dhawan and is also likely to star in Shashank Khaitan's next as well as Homi Adjiana's 'The Fault In our stars remake'.
