Is 'TMK' being shoved down our throat?
Hey guys,
Today I saw the trailer for 'Wallah Re Wallah' From Tees Maar Khan and I was disappointed just like I was with 'Sheila ki Jawani' I am not saying it was the worst thing I have seen but the over hype around this kawali and how it would be the longest or best kawali and beat all the ones from the past obviously DID NOT HAPPEN! And most people claimed shiela ki jawani isnt as good as munni badnaam hui was and this is more raunchy and therefore not being equivalent to 'The most awaited item no of the yr" and articles talking months prior to this about kat getting trained in belly dancing and giving shakira a run for her money (LOL)
I believe this was/is a strategy by farah to hype her movie, but I really cant wait to see how much of this hype is gonna work versus backfire?!
I believe farah kud have defi done alot better with both these songs and I'm not sure if audiences sense of entertainment is being mocked or what... we on our own have the intellegence to decide if its the item song of the yr or the best kawali in history! lol....And all this smoke without fire has only made me not take any interest in the movie!
But I'm curious to hear from you all...
Do you think the hype killed it for you, or did the hype live up to your exceptions? And how do you think her "strategy" will work at the box office?
